As per the recommendation of Vince, I have added a membergroup to the forum.  It is called 505th Members.  Anybody who is anybody can join the forum.  But to view certain topics, you MUST be an accepted member of the 505th. 

As of this morning, only 505th Members can view any topics regarding events and off the record topics.  Check it out.  Logout and view the forum as a guest.  This is also what members can see who are registered but not placed into the 505th member group.

I am the only person who can approve a member to be in the 505th membergroup.  This is also a safety issue.  This measure was taken to prevent people from knowing what events we will be attending or any discussion regarding them.

Any comments or concerns please post here.

*PHOTO UPDATE*

Guys - New pics up from the Spfld. Armory courtesy of 1st Sgt. Gordon.  Anyone else who snapped pics of this event, send to myself so I can post.  Also, I added a ton of older pics.  You'll find them in the "Old School Trooper" album.  It's from events older than 2006.

Soon I will be posting the market garden impression on the main page.  Chris, can you send me the text list of each item?

I have uploaded pictures from the 2009 Xmas party and the 2010 Windsor, VT tactical.  I have photos from TOP, and myself.  Anyone else with photos they wish to add please e-mail them to me.  You can see them at http://www.505thrct.com/pictures/

I added dates on the main site for the Airshow and Stonington.  I also put Stowe, xmas party, and a possible USO show for TBD dates, etc.

On a side note, we have 3,347 hits on our site in a year and a half.

Up until April of this year we averaged 50 visits a day on our website.  Months May-July 2010 we averages 80 visits a day.  We are already at 90 visits to the site for this month and it's only the 1st week in Aug.

We are either getting more popular, or our members are checking into the site 10 times a day haha.  I use a direct link to the forum, I don't even visit the 505th site to get to the forum.
